Balance Disorder

Loss of balance and mobility are not part of growing older!

How do you know if you are at risk for falling?

  • Symptoms of dizziness or unsteadiness
  • Loss of strength or feeling in the legs or feet
  • Recent period of bed rest or inactivity
  • Loss of confidence in your ability to get around
  • Taking one or more medications

Falls are typically not one risk factor, but can be a combination of several. Combined with environmental risk factors (uneven surfaces, obstacles and lighting), you may be at risk for falls.

Call your doctor to see if this program is right for you.
