Over the past decade, patient safety has become a topic of national concern and during this period, the health care industry has learned about improving patient safety from scientific study and from studying other industries, such as the aviation industry. Adventist Medical Center physicians, nurses, and staff make consistent strides to identify and address the various threats to safety in a hospital setting. The staff and employees are focused on making our patients' medical center experiences free from harm.
Core Measures
Core measure performance is used to measure the quality of care provided by the medical center and its physicians for patients with a specific diagnosis such as heart failure, pneumonia or acute myocardial infarction, also called heart attack.
