Over the past decade, patient safety has become a topic of national concern. During this period, the health care industry has learned about improving patient safety from scientific study and from studying other industries, including the aviation industry. Adventist Medical Center physicians, nurses, and staff make consistent strides to identify and address the various threats to safety in a medical center setting. The staff and employees are focused on making our patients' medical center experiences free from harm.
