What is Pulmonary Rehabilitation?
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an education and exercise program that teaches you:
- about your lungs;
- how to exercise;
- how to do activities with less shortness of breath;
- and how to "live" better with your lung condition.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
Tuesdays
& Thursdays, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Special Instructions: Physician referral required.
This program is geared toward people who are significantly
limited in their ability to be physically active or require
oxygen for exertion. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation program includes a closely
monitored exercise program and individualized education,
including topics such as:
- Breathing techniques
- Prevention of infection
- Nutrition
- Medications
- Environmental concerns
- Coping with lung disease
- Oxygen and travel

Easy Breathers Support Group
First Thursday of each month, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Columbia Room, Pavilion Lower Level
An ongoing support group for pulmonary patients and their families to provide
and exchange information in a warm, caring and supportive environment. Open to
the public and free of charge. Call 503-251-6830 for questions.
