Biography
Dr. Janet Monnier is a board certified family physician who enjoys combining traditional and natural methods. Her focus is on treating the whole person and her training in both traditional and natural medicine allows her to offer "the best of both worlds" to her patients.
Dr. Monnier worked in biomedical research before earning her degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. She then completed a residency in family medicine at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey. Dr. Monnier has been in private practice since 1992. Over the years, she has pursued training in natural medicine to help complement the care she provides for her patients.
Dr. Monnier is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has been named to the "America's Top Family Doctors" list. She earned a diploma from the Institute of Homeopathy and is also a graduate of the New England School of Homeopathy.
Dr. Monnier joined Adventist Health Medical Group after moving to Oregon in 2004. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, cycling and traveling throughout the Northwest.
