Biography
Dr. Jean Riquelme is a physician board certified in Family Medicine. Before moving to Oregon, she was a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2002. With a special interest in the effects of the mind on illness, she completed additional training in Mind-Body Medicine at Georgetown University and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Riquelme believes in using evidence-based decision making to help patients achieve health goals. She is fluent in spoken and written Spanish and serves on medical missions to Latin America. With her husband, Juan Carlos, she likes to travel to visit their children who live in various countries of the world.
