Biography
Dr. Joy Chen obtained her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 2006. She then continued her training in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and gastroenterology at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in esophageal disorders.
Dr. Chen is of Chinese descent and fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is married with one daughter. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Chen relocated to Portland for its family-friendly atmosphere. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and cooking.
