Biography
Dr. Elliot Joo obtained his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 2006. He then continued his training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Loma Linda. During that time, he developed an interest in diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract, and honed his skills in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois, his relocation to Portland was prompted by the strong sense of community also found in the Pacific Northwest.
In his free time, Dr. Joo enjoys spending time with his wife, three daughters and his friends. He is also an avid fan of golfing and the Chicago Cubs.
