Our Family Birth Place staff believes that
each birth experience is unique. Your
individual birth choices are supported, and
family relations are valued and nurtured. We
strive to provide excellent quality care in a

or have been through childbirth before,

The majority of the physicians who deliver
babies at Adventist Medical Center are
board certified, a credential often favored
in quality care reports. And the medical
team participating in your delivery
is largely up to you. Our maternity
professionals include obstetricians, family
practice physicians and nurse midwives.
Our nursing staff are among the most
experienced labor and delivery nurses in
the area. Many of our nurses have special
certifications such as fetal monitoring,
inpatient obstetrics and lactation and are
members of the national Association of
Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses.
Anesthesia is available around the clock,
and is administered only by qualified
anesthesiologists medical doctors who
specialize in anesthesia
