In the mid-1860's Adventist health pioneers emphasized the importance of promoting health and preventing illness in addition to treating disease.

Today that tradition continues throughout the Adventist Health network. Through the Wellness Services department of Adventist Medical Center we seek to:

Engage individuals at their point of need where they live, work, worship and play.
Equip them with personal health information and training.
Encourage others along the journey to better health and well being.
