The light from the sun is essential for life on this earth.
In fact, the biblical account of creation suggests that on the
first day, God said, "Let there be light, and there was light."
Rays from our solar system's central start affect things as
diverse as the weather, food production and even our emotional
state.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, as in many parts of the world, humans spend a
great deal of their time living and working indoors. In the winter, when days
are shorter and the skies gray, we can go long periods without enjoying the sun.
For many of us, this lack of bright daylight can influence our moods and energy
levels leading to
a condition referred to as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Some of the
symptoms may include feelings of sadness or depression, craving carbohydrates, irritability, sleep
problems and less enthusiasm for life. Fortunately, when exposed to properly
timed doses
of sunlight or to specialized bright lights, many of these symptoms can improve
or even disappear.* Click

we at

at very competitive prices. Unlike sunlamps, these
units filter out ultraviolet rays. Most are relatively compact and can fit
easily on a desk or countertop. For more information on light therapy research,
