Adventist Medical Center locks its front doors at 9:30 pm and reopens them at 5 am daily. If a visitor wishes to gain access to the hospital after-hours, they must enter through the Emergency Department entrance, located on SE Main Street. Once inside, go to the end of the hall and pick up the phone to talk with Telecommunications. They will contact the department requested to verify that the patient has authorized visitation. Entrance may be denied if the patient's nurse feels it is necessary. Visiting hours in various departments may differ from the general hospital visitation hours. Please check with the nurses' station to verify when to visit patients.
