Personal Care Services - Adventist Medical Center

Our personal care staff understands that many people with illness or injury want to heal at home. It is our goal to make it possible for people to be able to stay in their homes while providing the personal care they need. This assistance can range from help with monthly homemaking visits to 24 hour care. We can also help with RN or Therapy visits for clients who do not qualify for Home Health, and those whose needs are stable and predictable. We gave been offering these services since 1985 and have qualified and trained caregivers, many of whom are Certified Nursing Assistants. Our nurse supervisor evaluates and works with you to develop a plan of care to meet you or your loved ones needs. We also work with your physician and healthcare providers to assure the continuity of your care. Our services include:

Homemaking

Keeping a home clean, safe and comfortable
Laundry
Grocery shopping and meal preparation
Shopping, errands and transportation
Light Housework

Personal Care

Bathing and personal grooming
Medication reminders
Exercise and ambulation

RN (Registered Nurse) Visits

Care for clients requiring the services of an RN
Physical assessments
Blood draws
Medication management
Injections and teaching
