Adventist Health's Workforce Program is comprised of physical
and occupational therapists that provide a full range of
services. Program goals are to reduce on-the-job injuries by
educating workers and employers, and return injured workers back
to work safely and quickly. Services include:
- Physical Therapy
- Hand Therapy
- Physical Capacity Evaluations (PCE)
Tests the worker's ability to perform essential physical demands and
functional endurance to return to full-time work.
- Pre-Employment/Post-Offer Screenings
Physical demands testing prior to employment ensuring that new hires will be
able to demonstrate the essential physical demands of the job.
- Work Conditioning
- Job specific work simulations to enable the worker to return to full-duty
work
- Follows physical or hand therapy treatment, if worker is required to return
to full-duty work with heavy physical demands.
- Ergonomic Evaluations
- On-site services
- Injury prevention focus
- Work station modification to reduce injury risk
