The Medical Library is conveniently located on the first
floor of Adventist Medical Center, left of the main entrance
elevators through two doorways in Medical Staff Affairs. Our
hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm and Friday, 8 am - 2:30
pm. Services we offer include:
- Computerized Searches - Searches conducted by the librarian in
bibliographic databases such as
PubMed/MedLine. CINAHL (nursing and allied health), Internet sources and
many others.
- Medical Library Computer Lab - Self-directed literature searching of
resources which include
PubMed/MedLine, CINAHL and Internet sources. Call or
e-mail the librarian for a training
appointment at 503-251-6166.
- Photocopying - A photocopier is available for complimentary duplication of
library materials.
