19th Annual Angels & Bows Remembrance Benefit Program
& Reception

This
free benefit event is a special time for families and individuals to
remember or honor those we love in a supportive environment. It
took place Sunday, December 9, 2007.
The benefit supports Adventist Health's Hospice, a group of supportive
professionals who provide compassionate care for patients and families who are
dealing with a terminal illness. Donors are invited to support
Hospice by sponsoring a Christmas ornament.
The speaker was Doris Sanford, Ph.D, whose specialties include loss and grief, is a former
hospice therapist and author of 29 books. She worked with the Oregon Department
of Human Resources for 15 years working with abused children. She also taught a
course on Death & Dying for approximately 25 years at Mt. Hood Community
College. She has provided training on grief support in New Zealand, Canada and
throughout the United States at schools, churches and conferences.
This benefit event is sponsored by Adventist Health/Hospice, Adventist
Medical Center Volunteers and Philanthropy Services.
