If you are discharged from the Emergency Department you will be given instructions regarding your diagnosis. It is very important that you understand what to do when you leave the department and what to expect in the future. Your personal physician may be contacted regarding your visit to the Emergency Department. If you do not have a physician, you will be given the name of a physician from our on-call list for a follow-up office visit. Patient Satisfaction You may receive a patient satisfaction survey in the mail after your visit. We would appreciate it if you would take a few moments to fill it out.
