The medical center provides the largest private hospital mental health inpatient program in Oregon. The philosophy of �whole person care� encompasses all areas of the organization. Psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment are provided at Adventist Medical Center as a component of a larger consortium known as Caremark Behavioral Health Services. Driven by our mission to be responsive to patient and community needs Caremark Behavioral health was formed as a joint venture between Adventist Medical Center and Legacy Health System. The goals of this collaborative effort included improving quality of behavioral health care available in the Portland metro area, reducing costs and duplication of services, and increasing access to a greater variety of services.
