Annual Golf Benefit History - Adventist Medical Center

Since the Adventist Medical Center Annual Golf Benefit began in 1996, more than $1 million in net proceeds (view graph - PDF) have been raised. These funds have been used to improve the health of our community through the community Healthvan mobile wellness service; outpatient diabetes education; charity care of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients; chaplain services, and a therapy courtyard for behavioral medicine patients.

This year, 2008, our Golf Tournament Directors Committee has chosen an ambitious goal of $120,000 or more in net proceeds to support the development of advanced Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Cardiology facilities, and expanded Emergency Department facilities.

These improvements will be part of the major Pavilion expansion project now underway and projected for completion in 2009. This expansion is designed to address the growing demands for cardiac care and emergency services in the community.
